Lizzy Kirkman is a London-based photographer and digital imaging specialist. At the heart of her work is a commitment to storytelling, brought to life through a thoughtful, intuitive approach guided by close observation and a quiet sensitivity to people, place, and detail.
Lizzy began her formal training with a two-year Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography at Mid Cheshire College’s London Road campus. In 2012, she moved to London to attend the London College of Fashion (University of the Arts London), studying Fashion Styling and Photography before specialising in Photography in her final year.
Lizzy’s early portfolio focused largely on studio work. She documented 11 seasons of Fashion Week across London, Paris, and Milan, building an extensive fashion archive. Selected shows and showrooms include Vivienne Westwood, Bora Aksu, Marimekko, Barbour, YMC, Oliver Spencer, Ryan Lo, Charlie May, Minju Kim, Soulland, Ingie Paris, Nehera, and Luisa Beccaria.
This foundational experience developed into a broader career in digital imaging, spanning photography and meticulous photo archiving. Her in-house experience includes overseeing the picture library for renowned contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth, managing assets across 18 international locations, including Los Angeles, Hong Kong, New York, Zurich, Paris and Menorca.
